The Tramways Building, operated by the Mandela Bay Development Agency, hosted its first event, Marktfees after hard-hitting lockdown due to the Covid-19 pandemic. The popular venue was slowed down, and all events were cancelled or postponed after the highly infectious virus disrupted the events industry.

The Nelson Mandela Bay Science & Technology Centre (NMBSTC) operated by the Mandela Bay Development Agency (MBDA) kick started the 2nd annual Career Summit starting from the 17th to the 19th of March, in partnership with Volkswagen Learning Academy and the National Union of Mine Workers (NUMSA).

The Mandela Bay Development Agency (MBDA) in collaboration with filmmaker, Nomakhomazi Dewavrin has produced a short documentary film dedicated to the unsung New Brighton Jazz musicians. The docu-film is set to air on MpumaKapa TV, Channel 260 on DSTV and streamed on all MBDA social media platforms on the 28th of February 2021 at 15:30pm.
