As South Africa commemorates Youth Day on 16 June 2025, the Mandela Bay Development Agency celebrates the spirit of the youth by shining a light on its dedicated group of interns who are gaining real-world experience at its offices at The Tramways Building in Gqeberha, the Nelson Mandela Bay Stadium, and the Nelson Mandela Bay Science and Technology Centre in Kariega.

Nelson Mandela Bay's newest premier event space opened its doors to key stakeholders at an official launch at Nelson Mandela Bay Stadium. 

Developed with community input, the new Helenvale Extension 12 Play Park offers a safe and vibrant space for children and youth. 

The Mandela Bay Development Agency supports the Construction Industry Development Board’s Contractor Development Programme and encourages relevant stakeholders to participate.

In alignment with the cidb B.U.I.L.D Programme Gazette and the National Contractor Development Framework, the cidb has approved a structured programme designed to support contractor development through an Assessment of Prior Learning (APL) and targeted top-up training. 

The Mandela Bay Development Agency has released its latest Economic Impact Assessment Report, highlighting progress and challenges in Central, North End, and the Kariega CBD. The report explores how investments have influenced local economies, job creation, infrastructure, and public perception.
